The Warmth of Your Embrace

Father,

This morning, we draw close into your warm embrace. We find rest in the peace and knowledge of your faithfulness and goodness, your sovereignty and invitation. Thank you for who you are.

As we become more aware of your loving presence, show us the walls we build between us, you, and each other. Reveal to us the ways we try to hide from you and each other. Show us the things that impede us from abiding rest and deep community.

This morning, as a community bound together in and by you Jesus, we pray for the unspoken requests and for those on our prayer list. We pray for the healing of those who require healing. Hope for those who are hopeless. Connection for those who are lonely. Provision for those who are struggling. Lord, you know our needs, and so we pray for your kingdom to come and your will to be done.

In your holy name, Jesus,
